C-section what to expect ?

So I’m due my baby girl 3rd of July but because of reasons and 1 her measuring big it’s in talks to either induce or have a C-section when I’m 38-39 weeks.

Can anyone give me some advice or experiences with what it’s like, recovery wise, mentally, physically, anything I need to know about in terms of affects after in the long term or even short term etc.

I’m nervous for it and need an insight to what i may go through. Thankyouu

i had an emergency c section at 38 weeks with my first only because i had a placental abruption the reason of cause was unknown but she came out healthy regardless, currently pregnant with no.2 and hoping for a natural birth this time round, at first i struggled only because i didn’t get time to rest but id definitely say rest as much as possible dont over do things and take things one step at a time because it makes the healing process much better and it wont mess you up mentally if that makes sense! c section will be the last cause because they dont do them unless its a planned or if its really needed, i hope birth goes smoothly for you

Best outing for a first birthday

I am thinking rather than putting on a gathering party my little one would rather have an adventure, I am posting distances from us as this should be a factor in the poll, and his birthday is in August

Epidural site pain?

Sent a message to my OB about this but wanted some personal insight—’ll be 4 weeks PP this week and am still having some decent soreness where my epidural was placed as well as a chill/cold feeling in that area from time to time. Has anyone else experienced this?

2 under 2 c section healing limited support

I’m about to have a newborn and a 17 month old. I’m having a repeat c section and my husband works 70 hours a week so I’m a lone alllll the time. We have no family support and can’t afford a nanny or help because we live paycheck to paycheck as it is. My question is, does anyone have any tips on how to handle the toddler and newborn while also healing from c section? Eg how will I load and unload the 17 month old into the car seat and put when I’m not even able to lift over 10 lbs for 6 weeks. I’m really getting stressed about the logistics of everything.
