Baby Movements

Anyone else so anxious about their babies movements? Not feeling him for an hour or so puts me in the worst mood. Ended up on MAU yesterday as didn’t feel him for 4 hours and then as soon as I got there he was bouncing around !

What I do when I feel like that I have a cup of orange or anything with sugar in it because I overthink that somethings wrong then my baby moves around like crazy for hrs

I’m the same! Haven’t gone to MAU yet with baby boy. Once , I’m thinking I need to go - he’s bouncing around. I swear babies know 😂

All the time! I thought I'd be less anxious when I started feeling baby, how wrong was I 😅 just worry more now when she's quiet!

I have been the same. But we need to remember the little beans need to sleep too and they can also get into positions we can't feel. But drinking or eating something sugary does help.

Same here! I find that if I realise he hasn't moved for a while and I'm worried, I sit down, take some deep breaths with my hands on my belly, sometimes have a snack and a tea and he's soon bouncing around again 🩷

Another heatwave?

Help! I’m being induced on Monday 😭. This is making me more stressed than the impending labour!

6-8 Week appointment

Hey everyone,

I’ve just had my 6–8 week postnatal appointment after a vaginal birth, and I’m a bit surprised that there wasn’t really any physical check to see how everything had healed.

My appointment seemed to focus mostly on baby, with only a few questions about how I was feeling.

Just wondering what other people’s experiences were and whether this is normal. Thanks 😊

Best outing for a first birthday

I am thinking rather than putting on a gathering party my little one would rather have an adventure, I am posting distances from us as this should be a factor in the poll, and his birthday is in August

32 weeks

I’m 32 weeks and so so exhausted is this normal? I feel like I can’t do anything resting makes me feel guilty! I’ve also seen stars in the corner of my eyes once today and twice yesterday only for a split second is that cause for concern?

National 3 Peaks - 6 weeks pregnant

I have been training for the national 3 peaks for a friend with cancer with my husband, my dad and a few friends. I found out I was pregnant last weekend and not sure if this should affect my plans. I am still managing runs, however I definitely get a little more tired than usual. Fitness is good but don’t want to do anything irresponsible. Any suggestions or if anyone has completed something similar?
