Hey guys ,
My baby (9 months) is bathed daily and lotioned daily and it works for us as a wind down routine . However she is quite skin sensitive I’ve noticed . I loved the smells and idea of Nalas baby but it will break my girl out in a full blown red patchy rash . We scrapped that and currently using mustela which works good but it’s pricey for us . Does anybody have alternatives that are clean products but work well and a cheaper price ? I don’t like Johnson’s ties to cancer causing ingredients so thats not really doable . Aveeno we tried but it made her itch for some reason ?
Suggestions welcome !!

My first one has eczema and we struggled with sensitive skin too.
Make sure you only dress them in cotton clothes is rule no 1 and no overheating.
We tried almost everything Mustela and GAIA have such strong smells I couldn’t stand myself, not sure why they have to be so strong! Both were ok but didn’t help as much.
My midwife suggested to try sorbolene and mineral oils like Johnson both were such a dumb idea made our baby scream😢 I assume they sting sensitive skins.
Aveno doesn’t have that strong smell which I appreciated but also didn’t help as much.
Depends where you live but here in Australia we have local QV baby creams and shampoo which are super gentle on baby skin.
Also babies don’t need much shower gels/shampoo, they aren’t that dirty so use as minimal as you can. And bathing too often can washout their natural skin oils, I don’t think daily bathing is recommended.
Hope this helps a bit💞

Attitude is a great brand and ewg certified!

My little one had really bad baby eczema and we tried weleda baby shampoo and body wash and paired it with the weleda baby body lotion and hes had no issues and doesnt irritate his skin

Just simple olive or coconut oil is a nice option.
