If your LO is already sleeping or has fallen asleep at home and you need to go out do you wake them up or let them sleep.

When I say you need to go out I'm not talking a must like a GP's appt. I'm talking say to meet up with a friend.

I’d plan around the nap but if the nap schedule goes off course that day and I’ve made plans I’m not going to cancel on people just for a nap, I’d hate if someone did that to me
It’s happened plenty of times to me where she flat out refuses to nap on schedule because I swear she knew I made plans for after the nap so it ends up being a late nap and cut short when it’s time to go or skipped and she can nap in the car

Baby fall

I’m posting this anonymous because I don’t want to be prejudged. My little girl is 9 month old and has just fell off the sofa, I literally stood up and turned my back for a second to grab something, done it loads of times and never had an issue, it happened at between 7-7:30. She’s been sick a little down herself just before. Am I the worst mam in the world? Will she be alright having a nap? The mam guilt is something else right now. We’ve been up since 5:30 so she’s getting tired as well

What’s something that you either experienced personally or witnessed someone experience and makes you feel sore just at the thought of it?

Recovery advice

I’m nearly 3 weeks PP and have started experiencing a sharp pain in the edges of my scar. It’s not constant and I have checked the wound, it’s clean and has no rash or anything around it but it’s still quite painful. I’ve been pretty active since I left hospital, out for short walks and such and trying to do things so I’m not sure if I have overdone it and just have my body telling me to slow it down or if it’s something I should be concerned about.
Thanks for any advice!

Nighttime nappies

What nappies are you using at night for those doing longer stretches now?

We have used Sainsbury’s since birth and get on great with them. But if I don’t change him through the night he wets through.

I put a nappy on him at 6:30 after bath. Had milk at 7 and he went to sleep. At 10pm gave him a dream feed.
He’s just made a loud noise at 2 that woke me, but when I checked he was still asleep, I was going to leave him but decided to feel his bottom area and he had wet through.

My 3 weeks old son slept through the night

Good morning, I’m panicking because my son only sleeps in my arms throughout the day and in the past two days every time I tried to put him in his cot he would wake up after 5 minutes. So he had very poor sleep for the past 48 hours. Yesterday I was exhausted and he finally fell asleep. I woke up in the morning and he never woke up to be fed last night. This morning he woke up I changed him and I breastfed him as usual. He doesn’t seem stressed, but I feel really guilty. Did this happen to anyone? Should I be worried?
