Baby Movement

I’m 21 weeks and my baby girl is turning up in my belly. I haven’t felt real movement just flutters but she is literally having a party in there, I feel dumb asking but is there ever such thing as too much movement and i’m just a first time mom that’s freaking out? It been going on for like an hour and a half just little punches. Healthy baby at anatomy scan had follow up today and OB and midwife are happy and say everything is good just haven’t experienced this before.

Totally normal hun! Momma of 4 soon to be 5 all my babes have moved constantly from 12 weeks to birth I loved it but was also slightly annoying lol by the third trimester I get thrown around pretty much from them moving so forcefully, it's also normal to be concerned about baby moving to much but all is good you want movements it's very reassuring

Baby 2 - nhs appointments

I had an emergency c-section with baby 1. So im assuming now with baby 2 ill be high risk and consultant led. I know a previous c-section increases your risk of miscarriage so is there anyway to make sure my booking appointment is after my 12 week scan? I dont want to waste time on it for a non-viable pregnancy. Can I just ask for a date thats after my scan?

Im also assuming that im going to be told that I have to be consultant led, cannot labout at all at home and continous monitoring the whole time. I feel like with that there is almost no point in trying for a vbac because thats going to end with my failing again and another emergency c-section.

Pain relief at home

Does anyone have any ideas for at home pain relief? I’m having painful contractions about 3-5 mins apart, hospital sent me home. I’ve tried bath and paracetamol but it’s had no effect. I’m currently operating on 0 hours sleep as I can’t settle through the pain 😭

Hospital Bag

I’ve been watching loads of tiktoks of people packing their hospital bags and nearly everyone packs shampoo and conditioner

Who on earth is having a baby and then going for a hair wash?? Do i need to pack them? Did you wash your hair in hospital? Did you also take a hairdryer?
