Next to me question

Sorry if I sound a bit daft, I didn’t have a next to me with my first child 😂

My 12 week old has just started to roll and I’m worried as only one side of the next to me is fully mesh - the other side isn’t and I don’t think it’s breathable material if she rolls into it!

Does this mean it’s time for a cot already?

I guess does baby roll onto tummy or their side, and do you have them in a sleeping bag? ☺️ xx

This is the next to me I have, baby can stay in it if they can roll because they can move their head back from the side of it

Long car journeys with 5 month old baby

My family live about 1 hour away, more so 1.30 hour with traffic, I’d like to start going to visit whilst on maternity with my baby but I’m anxious for the long car journeys, especially if we get held up in traffic. My baby is usually ok in the car but I’ve only ever done short trips with her and the only horrific time was during the heatwave where she was tired and overheating even in her nappy. Any advice on how to keep her preoccupied in the back with nobody there to comfort her and without stopping? There are no services during this journey so I don’t plan on stopping. I play lullabies and let her hear my voice if she cries. She has her toy hanging down from the car seat handle bar. Is there anything I can attach to the car seat for her to look at or keep her busy? Any tips? I always make sure she’s had a feed before we set off etc… I can’t bear the thought of her crying whilst on the motorway and there’s nothing I can do!

Advise on 3 month olds movements

Hey guys I need some advise is this normal behaviour for my 3 month old? She does this quite often, mainly in the day time. She frails her hands around a lot. I have no idea why she does that but she seems to be doing it more often than before. Please ignore the blanket it’s the only way we can keep her dummy in otherwise it will just keep falling out her mouth.

6 week old won’t sleep

Am I going insane!? Today my baby’s probably slept a whole of 4/5hrs since 9am. She’s not sick, she’s been fed, burped, bathed, comforted, fresh nappy. This has all came out of no where. Feel like I’m loosing the will lol

Baby won't sleep in cot anymore.

My 4 week old baby slept really well in her cot for the first four weeks but in the last two days she kicks off when I try to put her in the cot after she has fallen asleep on me breastfeeding. She sleeps deeply on mine or my husband's chest but it's unsafe I guess as I fall into a deep sleep too with her on me.. any tips? It's really exhausting her not sleeping in the cot as it limits me being able to do anything in the day and at night it's not safe.
