Pregnant

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with baby number 2. First of all I’m terrified. We planned on another but thought it would be a couple of months before start trying. But turns out the baby is due the exact same time as my first. Why am I embarrassed by this?
I am so nervous to tell people. I don’t know how I’m going to manage the juggle. Any tips please help xo

Don’t be embarrassed! My two boys are 23 months apart with just 2 weeks between their birthdays. I’ll be honest it was tough at the start but my youngest is now 4 months and it’s gotten so much easier they really do just slot right in! I’d advise a baby carrier for naps/getting things done around the house especially if you are on your own with both of the littles. My youngest gets also learnt to self settle pretty quickly which has helped, it could just be how he is but we would put him in the cot while my eldest was in the bath and tend to him if he needed us but we found the majority of the time he would just put himself to sleep and this has stuck! We also got books about becoming a brother and family photos for our eldest to prepare him and made him as included as possible when it comes to baby (fetching nappies, helping clean bottles etc), congratulations and good luck!

Mums with older babies

Just wondering if there’s anyone out there that can give me some positive reassurance. I’ve found this whole first year really hard. I thought I was born to be a mum but I really don’t think I’m cut out for it at all. There’s been very few days and weeks I haven’t got completely overwhelmed or felt like I’m not good enough. Just looking to see if anyone who has children who are older now could let me know if they found the first year really tough but better after 1? All I keep seeing is “just wait til they are a toddler” in negative ways and I already feel such a failure😔

I’m 7 weeks pp today and think I’m starting my first period…
How bad is it going to be…? I’ve heard mixed reviews of your first period after having a baby and I’m a bit nervous to say the least😂

Whelp it’s been nice not having a period for the last 10/11 months!!😂

Nervousness and what’s normal!

Is anyone else always so unsure about when to call the midwife line for guidance?
I’ve been feeling a bit off recently and keep getting nervous around braxton hicks, discharge etc and not knowing whether I should call , but I feel like so much is normal and I don’t want to waste everyone’s time!
Currently suffering with a lot of pressure and ‘fuzziness’ in my head and ear, I mentioned it to my midwife yesterday and she said my blood pressure was fine but if it comes back and I’m concerned to call up the hospital midwife’s, but then I am just getting over a cold so I feel like I may be overreacting!

When do they schedule a c section for for a breech baby?

Hey so my baby has been breech for quite a few weeks now and still hasn’t turned I’m 35+2 today and having a scan at 36+4 next week to see, if baby is still breech will they schedule it in the diary then and also when do they tend to schedule it for? I had my daughter naturally at 39+5 so I’m assuming before this point?
