It’s usually caused by surging hormones and isn’t too uncommon but I’d bring it up to your midwife next time you see them

This is exactly why I have an electric razor I whip out in pregnancy. That area is none of my business until after birth. I scarred myself the first time around using a mirror to try and shave… never again🤣.
Hormones, increased blood flow, pressure from a baby potentially in your pelvis. If you have any major concerns ask your midwife to check (it won’t be the first or last time she may see your downstairs) xx

Pregnant

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with baby number 2. First of all I’m terrified. We planned on another but thought it would be a couple of months before start trying. But turns out the baby is due the exact same time as my first. Why am I embarrassed by this?
I am so nervous to tell people. I don’t know how I’m going to manage the juggle. Any tips please help xo

Mums with older babies

Just wondering if there’s anyone out there that can give me some positive reassurance. I’ve found this whole first year really hard. I thought I was born to be a mum but I really don’t think I’m cut out for it at all. There’s been very few days and weeks I haven’t got completely overwhelmed or felt like I’m not good enough. Just looking to see if anyone who has children who are older now could let me know if they found the first year really tough but better after 1? All I keep seeing is “just wait til they are a toddler” in negative ways and I already feel such a failure😔

I’m 7 weeks pp today and think I’m starting my first period…
How bad is it going to be…? I’ve heard mixed reviews of your first period after having a baby and I’m a bit nervous to say the least😂

Whelp it’s been nice not having a period for the last 10/11 months!!😂

Nervousness and what’s normal!

Is anyone else always so unsure about when to call the midwife line for guidance?
I’ve been feeling a bit off recently and keep getting nervous around braxton hicks, discharge etc and not knowing whether I should call , but I feel like so much is normal and I don’t want to waste everyone’s time!
Currently suffering with a lot of pressure and ‘fuzziness’ in my head and ear, I mentioned it to my midwife yesterday and she said my blood pressure was fine but if it comes back and I’m concerned to call up the hospital midwife’s, but then I am just getting over a cold so I feel like I may be overreacting!
