Bright red blood 8 weeks PP

there’s a couple things that can be happening. if you overdid physical activity that can be a cause. your body is also just still healing and a little blood is natural between 6-8 weeks. your period could be returning although with EBF i doubt it.

as long as it’s only a little you’re all good. if you start passing clots bigger than a golf ball call/go see your doctor. if it’s accompanied by fever, pain, rapid heart rate, or you start bleeding through pads at a rate of 1 per hour for more than 2 hours it’s a definite problem and you should go in immediately.

A friend of mine was EBF and her period was back by 6 weeks so it does happen. But do also monitor those things mentioned above too just in case

I was EBF my first . I had two years of no blood .. second baby same EBF et my period came after 8 weeks Pp i was fuming 😂. I am 4 weeks Pp with 3rd baby and pray they wont come soon x
