I received a phone call this morning to book in my home midwife visit. What do they actually do on this home visit I’m already stress cleaning let alone a stranger coming over I’ll be going mental

I had a text about it this morning, I didn’t get one with my first so I did a bit of googling! Apparently it’s to see how you’re doing mentally, offering support on feeding and sleeping arrangements, going through any worries etc.

From my understanding they do not look around your house and have no right to - our nursery is currently still occupied with 2 bunnies as we build our extension 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nickname for a girl

I’m pregnant with a little girl and have decided on Aurora for her name
I’d like a nickname for her and have seen the most common nickname for Aurora is Rory

However, our surname starts with Ri (same sound as in River)… so I’m thinking that Rory River might be some sort of tongue twist or sound weird

Am I overthinking it? Are there any other nicknames that don’t end in “ry”?

I’m having a boy in November and struggling for names!

We like Reuben, Oscar and Rudy. Rudy is a bit rogue though, so a compromise is Reuben with the nickname to be possibly Rudy?

Breech baby 36 weeks!

Hi mommas I’m absolutely devastated my little girl has decided not to turn and I’m now booked in next week for her to be turned this is all new to me as I had a spontaneous birth with my first I’m horrified please can I have any tips or just advice please
