Sibling names way too similar or could it work?

I have a son Edward (we often call him Edward or Teds, he isnโ€™t abbreviated to Eddie) but ive fallen in love woth the name Eidi for a girl ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜ซ absolutely love it but feel like its way to similar to Edward ๐Ÿ˜…
I was thinking about using the name Eidith and abbreviate to Eidi.
Edward and Eidith
Edward and Eidi
I guess it kind of works unless Edward is ever abbreviated to Eddie then its just far too similar. Abd he might very well end up going but Ed/Eddie at school ect.
Whats everyone elses opinions?

See, I have a Ronan who gets called Roro or Rolo and im currently pregnant with a girl and I really wanted to call her Rosalie which would be shortened to Rosie/Rose and I felt like it was just too similar so even though I still adore Rosalie weve chosen something else.

Edward and Eidith doesnt sound too bad but in school he is super likely to have it shortened to Ed/Eddie unless you just straight up said he is Ted/Teddy instead

Question for mums who had both vaginal and c-section birth

Hi all, I'm a FTM due in August. I am still undecided between trying to go through labour with an epidural, or elective C section. I'm really scared of the pain. For those of you who tried both, were the pain levels similar? Including for recovery, for example is natural birth labour more or less painful than a c section recovery? Thank you x

Larger than average baby at nearly 36 weeks

So I've just been to a scan appointment and my baby is measuring more than 97th percentile. I've been screened for gestational diabetes which was normal and my amniotic fluid is normal. They have discussed for another scan in 2 weeks time and discussed induction at 39 weeks if still off the chart. This is my 2nd baby who came on due date naturally and was nearly 8lbs so this is all new to me. Anyone else experiencing anything similar to this? Anyone willing to share their experiences good or bad?

Vaginal birth after emergency c-section

My sons birth ended in an emergency c-section due to complications. He will be nearly 4 and a half when I give birth this time. Has anyone had a vaginal birth after an emergency c-section?

Round Ligament Pain โ€” am I dramatic?

Hey everyone! Wondering what you alls experience is with round ligament pain? I recently have been experiencing rather severe (severe for a mama who has had relatively no bothersome pregnancy symptoms until this) pain! I described in great detail the pains I am feeling to my doctor and she diagnosed it as round ligament pain & has even given a referral to PT that I will be scheduling tomorrow! It literally feel like my bones are dislocating at the bikini line โ€” as if Iโ€™ve slammed myself into a split (never before done) and it hurts to walk and move! Has anyone had this experience and what helped? (I know RLP is a part of the experience but wow I feel like Iโ€™ve broken a bone and canโ€™t walk lol)
