My 15 month old boy does. not. stop.
I’m not being dramatic, he’s on the go all the time, he’s in everything, he cannot sit still, he wants to walk and run everywhere. He gets frustrated very easily. He’s a dream in the pram and car seat fortunately, and he does sleep through the night which I know I am lucky for (probably because he’s so bloody tired!)
I hear a lot of mum’s / parents say that their baby is on the go and doesn’t stop and then we spend time together and I almost feel embarrassed. Meals are a no go outside of the house as he hates the high chair and will just run around with his food which is obviously dangerous. He doesn’t understand me yet, but can be quite rough with his hands, has bitten previously etc. I get a little embarrassed when nursery tell me he’s bitten and while they do not judge at all, I can’t help but wishing time away a bit until we can at least communicate properly.
I’m a first time mum so may be over cautious but I just feel like he operates on a higher frequency and I just don’t know what’s normal and what to be concerned about. 🫠
I know comparison is the thief of joy and I love his spirit and energy and I think perhaps because I don’t know anyone with a toddler so active, I’m starting to feel like we are the odd one out?!

Do you have a play pen or pack n play?! I'm not sure what they call it in your English language... My little guy is very active and if I need a break I put him in his pack n play with his toys and he plays and sometimes falls asleep. Lol

My girl was and still is like thats. Shes 2.5 now and we only stop for our daily tv time (currently loving beddybyes for before nap and bedtime). Literally the only time she stops moving. If hes happy, healthy and safe youre doing a great job. Some of us just get the none stop babies. We have a play room (dining room turned mommy's office turned playroom) that is Ro safe and approved and having that space helps us!
