Advice for baby going into her own room

For context, my baby girl is still in the room with me at night, we coslept for the first few months, then in various cots (next to me and then travel cot), then back to cosleeping and she’s now in her big cot as of a week ago.

Does anyone have any advice on successfully transitioning her into her own room at night? I’m not sure how to do it when she’s currently sleeping in her cot in my bedroom. Her day naps are usually either in the car, pram or in my bed.

Also she is formula fed and I usually feed her a couple of times in the night. Is it best to feed her in her room in a chair when she’s finally in her room? Or would I feed her in my bed until she drops off then put her back. Sorry if it’s a silly question, I really can’t wrap my head around what you’re meant to do 🙈 I’m hoping she will be in her own room by 9 months.

Thank you! 💕

I would keep her in her own room for feeds once you’ve got her sleeping in there x

When is too early for my ex partner to have my daughter overnight

Me and my ex broke up three weeks ago and he’s already asking to have her overnight. She is 8 months formula fed and semi co-sleeping

Since birth she has been very much dependent on me and breast fed for the first 3 months
Any advice?

Ms. Rachel / Screentime

Moms, be honest has Ms. Rachel actually helped your baby?
Did you notice new words, signs, better communication, or anything else you could directly attribute to her? Or is she just a lifesaver when you need 20 minutes to get something done? 😂
I'd love to hear real experiences and how old your little one was when they started watching. 🤍

Hmm

Since giving birth me and my partner haven’t been very intimate and it’s starting to feel like a marriage of convenience at times. I’ve been complimented a lot of by other women. Don’t get me wrong I’m straight but women are beautiful and I’m starting to have second thoughts what it would be like to be intimate with another woman.

Am I too late ?

Hey ladies,

I’m nervous that I may have bit myself in the behind ! I’m 12 weeks and 5 days postpartum and I am trying relactate with pumping. I had a weird journey with latching and everything and after about 3-4 weeks of trying I ultimately gave up with latching. With pumping it was just so uncomfortable and painful at the time that I didn’t consistently do it. I was pumping max about 3-4 times a day spontaneously.

As stated above, Im 12+4 weeks postpartum and I am trying to build my supply or even make enough for her to have a few bottles per day/week. Any tips and tricks to building supply? I’m trying to get more calorie intake, also changed flanges so I now have my correct size and it is as comfortable as it should be to pump. I’ve been incorporating at least 2 power pump session a day ( 1 session is 60 minutes, the next is 40). I’m also trying to consistently pump more, yesterday I tracked 7 pumping sessions (which is way more than I’ve ever done in a day). I have the Eufy S1 pros, Hygeia Fit Pro, and the Lansinoh Signature Pro pumps. Lastly, I’ve been doing a MOTN pump. I am getting less than 1-2oz per pump.

January baby mums - what are you all doing during wake windows these days? 😊🤷🏻‍♀️

My little girl is nearly 5 months old and I’m finding myself going down an Instagram rabbit hole watching reels about activities and sensory play, but there’s so much information that I’m ending up more confused than inspired! 😂

I’d love to know what a typical day looks like for you and your little one. What do you do during wake windows? (Also curious about when you start the day and end the day! - trying to get bedtime earlier but just not working - currently 8.30pm ish…)

Are there any toys, activities, classes or simple things around the house that your baby absolutely loves?

Sometimes I feel like we’re just winging it between feeds, naps, tummy time, walks and chatting/singing, so it would be lovely to hear what everyone else is doing! 😊 Thank you 🩷
