Contractions started for me around 1am, got more intense and went to hospital for 5pm and had her at 10:31pm! Felt very quick.
With my first it was 36hrs from waters breaking… so both very different 💘

Just had baby 2 today 🥰
First baby labour was 3hrs50 minutes start to finish!
This baby 6hrs50 minutes but much more controlled and laid back, the first one felt like a wild fire 😅

I delivered on the 3rd of June 🥰 It took 7 hours for me to go from 4cm dilated to giving birth

Second pregnancy

Has anyone had a GTT and been told they haven’t got gestational diabetes, but been testing at home and numbers are high?

I had gestational diabetes in my previous pregnancy, my fasting numbers were a problem so ended up on metformin and insulin. After meals weren’t too bad, 9 times out of 10 getting under 7.8 after an hour.
I had a glucose test at 14 weeks and again last week at 26 weeks and was told both times my results were normal and didn’t have gestational diabetes this pregnancy. I still have my kit at home so have been testing, and my fasting results have been 5.6 - 5.8 for the past 3 days. After meals have been in range.
Where do I go from here? Do I contact the diabetic midwives and tell them? Or do I just trust the test results from my glucose tests.

Hii everyone I am 5 weeks postpartum it’s my second baby but first natural birth and I am currently experiencing heavy pressure down there when I walk or it’s awkward to sit down..
Is this normal feeling like this? I can’t get in to see anyone till late next week when we have our 6 weeks postpartum check up

Conceiving first child

Conceiving your first (or only) child timewise took…

I’ve included one time because that was what my experience was, seeing how unique (or not) this is.

Conception is a blessing and appreciate not everyone conceives quickly ❤️‍🩹

Funniest pregnancy brain moments?!

I’ve just been laughing at myself because yesterday I was holding my phone whilst frantically looking for it and today, instead of body cream, I started using my hair gel to moisturise 😂😂😂😂. Tell me I’m not alone!
