Night time diaper change

How in the hell are you changing a diaper without taking a swaddle/sleep sack off? I keep seeing all these ads saying “easy zipper for night time changes” but I’m so worried about my baby peeing all over it?? I’m so confused as to how that works??

I stick a clean diaper under the dirty diaper so it’ll catch anything. If you have a small changing pad that goes in your diaper bag you could put that under too for extra protection

I just do it very quickly and hope for the best! So far I've only had one escape wee 🤞

I just have a peepee pad underneath ready to go and swing her sack behind her back while wiping. She wakes up a little, but she’s never super upset since it’s a motion she’s used to.

This may be controversial... I stopped doing night changes.
With both my kids, once I noticed they were no longer pooping overnight. I stopped stressing it. I bought overnight/bedtime diapers with the extra absorbency and it worked wonders, less wake time & no fussing.
I may get judged but it made my life easier and the babies had no issues.

How is everyone having sex with so little time?

Honestly, having a newborn/baby under 1 is already challenging specially with the nights where the baby is fighting sleep…how is everyone here finding the time to have sex? Also with bigger wake windows and no family support around to watch the baby!!

When did contact naps end for you?

When were you able to put your baby in a crib or bassinet for naps without your baby waking up or crying.

Putting the baby down

Hey, I have a 5 month old baby boy who is so clingy towards me. I absolutely love it and I love him to pieces; however I cannot get him to go down at all. I know they say co sleeping is dangerous, but I’ve done a lot of research and follow a lot of women who co sleep with their babies on instagram to make sure I do it the safest way possible because he just will not go in his crib. If I put him down, he instantly cries and will scream the place down until I pick him up. I don’t know what to do, I can’t get anything done around the house and my body is just so achey all the time from holding him 24/7. Any tips??? I’ve tried loads but nothing works, I can’t even get him on the dummy, he can’t keep it in his mouth and he just wants to eat his hands all the time x

Intimacy at 36 weeks

Are people still managing to have sex? The last few times we’ve had sex I’ve felt so much pressure down below that I’ve genuinely feared that I might go into labour. Wondering if it might be time to stop until baby is here? 🤷‍♀️
