So my daughter is 1 1/2 and she will NOT sleep in her own crib whatsoever. Bed. Nap. Nothing. But when she goes down for naps, I put her in my bed and she sleeps. I dont know if its due to the size or what. But I've been struggling for awhile with her sleeping in her own bed. And I dont currently have the space to set up a toddler size bed right now.

She was 6 months on the 8th January. It was my new year's resolution to at least do 1 nap a day in her cot from then. So we started with 1 nap. Sometimes I had to save the nap as she wouldn't sleep long. But it gradually got longer and when it did I then added another nap until she was having all her naps in her cot. X

My baby is 12mo next week and he's required contact naps on and off. Currently requires them. šŸ˜…

I’m still contact napping I’d say about 30% of that time with my 15 month old

My daughter was 7 months old. One day I put her down and she fussed for maybe 2 minutes then decided the space wasn't so bad šŸ˜…

My girl is 15 months and is still contact napping the vast majority of the time...

My first could happily contact nap until she dropped her last nap at 2 years old. I used to sometimes go for a walk with the buggy and bring her back once asleep and just let her sleep in the buggy in the kitchen. My second is 5 months and so far would only nap either in the pram or on me.

Completely dropped the nap soon after her 3rd birthday, so that’s when she stopped contact napping šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø
I could roll her onto the bed and escape after around 6 months, but not for long and not consistently.
Only recently at 3 years old I can ā€˜transfer’ her, which just means if she falls asleep downstairs I can bring her up and put her on the bed without needing to soothe her back to sleep she’ll just roll over and get comfy herself.
I can’t imagine ever lowering her into a cot though that would wake her up instantly, I’ve only ever been able to roll her off me straight onto the bed

We started working our way towards non-contact naps around 18 months. It took a few months but we did finally get them!

With my first, pretty much from the get go she would contact nap or sleep in her crib/cot, pram, car seat etc… She was an easy baby!!

But with my second we are contact napping and cosleeping… She’s 4 months so hoping to transition soon šŸ™

We did contact nap for morning nap and a walk in the stroller for afternoon nap. I think the motion helped him sleep. I had to go back to work at 4 months and my husband stayed home for a month so we started transitioning around this time to crib naps so he was able to sleep at daycare

Is it a woman's duty to have sex with their partner no matter how she feels and to even put her babies 2nd just to please him?

Even if she is post-partum, the default parent, doing everything around the house or maybe not feeling up to it... Should her duty be to have sex? Otherwise he has a "right" to go elsewhere for it or a "right" to treat her unfairly if doesn't? Also should the babies/children come last just to fulfill this "duty"?

Parfume

Weird question
I’m 9weeks pp and ever since I gave birth I haven’t used any perfume on my skin/clothes because I’m scared my baby will not like it or will iritate his skin. Any thought?

How is everyone having sex with so little time?

Honestly, having a newborn/baby under 1 is already challenging specially with the nights where the baby is fighting sleep…how is everyone here finding the time to have sex? Also with bigger wake windows and no family support around to watch the baby!!

Newborn not weeing for 12 hours

For the first few days he did so many wees (I’m feeding him colostrum from the breast as day 3 and my milk hasn’t come in yet) I have so much colostrum is just squirts out of me and leaks etc.

Anyway he did loads of wee’s and poos and he is still pooing but no wee for over 12 hours now.

Really worrying now. Midwives say it’s normal but to wee that much and just stop? I’ve even topped him off with formula because I’m worrying he’s not getting enough.

Anyone else been through it?

6 week growth spurt or something else?

My baby is 6 weeks tomorrow and for the last couple of days he has been so fussy. He cries red in the face during wake windows, so hard to settle. Its not gas because he farts and burps like an old man and he is on dentinox. He sleeps at night, but the days are so long. I thought it may be reflux but then I read that week 6 is the worst .. has anyone else experienced the dreaded week 6 growth spurt? Is this what it is like? I'm thinking of going to the GP to discuss reflux? Shall I wait and see it out?
