Hey - my 8 week old is currently going through a crying stage. I feel like if he’s awake, he’s crying. It’s making me really anxious taking him anywhere. He sleeps just fine, and naps a lot during the day, it’s just when he wakes up from them he will be crying. We feed, burp, change his nappy ect. But he’s still unsettled. Does anyone have any advice to make him happier - is it common at 8 weeks or should I seek medical advice? 😴

There’s a phase called purple crying which hits its peak around now, so could be that. Does bubs show any sign of illness or discomfort like mucusy poo etc

my midwife warned me of this too! she says it will feel everything you do is wrong, it’ll pass, the main thing that keeps mine happy when like this is to wear him in a carrier and go about your day 😅

Does he have reflux?
Luckily saw a group in social media called high needs fussy baby
Had fussy baby from first week til week 5/6. Like i know its normal and baby cries but his cry is just like your cutting his abdomen open. He has this discomfort that makes him cry like that.
Then established he has reflux.

Between 6 to 8 weeks maybe to 12wks its the fussy stage.. my daughter is 7weeks tomorrow and just in middle of this. Pulling my hair out but I keep reminding myself it will pass.
