Does anyone know how to stop your baby from biting at the end of every feed? I'm really not ready to stop breastfeeding yet but I'm getting bitten almost every feed at the minute and it's sooo painful! ๐

Yes my baby does I tell him off ๐๐

I know itโs painful but they do stop my first did

At the beginning of the month, my baby started biting me while breastfeeding. At first, I would tell him "no," but that didn't help much. Then I stopped offering the breast when he bit me, and he finally understood. It was just a phase that lasted about a week, but it made me nervous every time I had to breastfeed him.
Later, I realized part of the problem was that my baby had started taking control of the latch himself. Sometimes he would latch incorrectly and end up biting because he wasn't properly attached. So I went back to the basics and took control again, guiding him to latch from the nose-to-nipple position and letting him open wide before attaching. After that, he stopped biting me.
You can do it, mama! And if nothing works, maybe it's time to wean. But if you still want to keep trying, I would say it's probably just a phase ๐ฅฒ๐๐ซ ๐

I offer her favourite teether whilst feeding, she now comes off 5/6 times per boob to bite and chew quickly but no biting since xx
