So I’ve finally been diagnosed with gallstones after repeatedly going up the hospital for a month complaining about my problem. It’s currently been discussed when I need to have an mri scan and surgery but in the meantime I was sent home with antibiotics but I’m noticing that my eyes and skin are only very slightly yellow. I have no dark pee or anything but Has anyone else had this as well? Is it normal? I do not want to go up an and e again for it as I’ve been up there hours on end this week And they never listen to me.

Hi, I had gallstones post partum! What symptoms are you having? Is it a constant pain or gallbladder attacks which last a few minutes? Even if slightly yellow, it is likely jaundice as that was the case with me. A gall stone had slipped into my bile duct which they will pick up on the MRI if that's the case! I can go into all the details and help as I suffered like hell before I got answers!

Same here! I went in for years with weird "indigestion" and have already had 3 intense attacks and repeatedly got dismissed until I practically refused to leave the hospital for a week and they finally did another ultrasound and found some stones. I saw the same surgeon various times and each he blamed my pregnancy in the most mocking way, despite it going well before I was pregnant. Awful.
They told me there's nothing they'll do while I'm pregnant but I do need to keep coming into A&E every attack i have in case of jaundice.
I know how you feel not being taken seriously and wasting so much time, but I wouldn't be taking any risk with your health and force them to run tests.
