Sex after C-section

I wouldn’t recommend to try before 6 weeks.. scar inside still fresh your uterus still shrinking..a lot going on. Infection risk is high. I know it’s hard but worth to wait

Wait til you are cleared by your doctor. The risks arent worth it at all.

I don't think it's worth the risk! You don't know how you're healing internally and wouldn't want to risk an infection.

You could try other things, foreplay and external play!x

I wouldn't recommend it either. I think its worth waiting and consulting your doctor first. Sometimes the wound opens too and C section is a major operation in which healing is very slow. Mine had opened by itself in week 5-6. So best to wait and get doctor advise.

It's definitely not worth the risk, wait till at least 6 weeks pp. We waited 2 weeks, nothing bad happened but I wouldn't recommend or encourage others to do the same x

it’s not worth the risk. if you do get an infection you could end up seriously ill in hospital and away from your baby. just wait the 6 weeks

i would recommend waiting until your doctor clears you <3 so at least six weeks !! your body is healing and it is so easy to get an infection + it might be really sore

Hiiiii, I’ve had 2 and didn’t wait either time. The first time no one told me I had to wait, I thought that was just vaginal deliveries. This time I have no excuse other than I wanted it. What I did both times is stopped before he finished, stopped if there was any pain or discomfort, no lube or anything extra inside, used a toy outside to make sure I was wet enough bc pp can make that more difficult for some. It is a high risk of infection and you can die, but I definitely understand not wanting to wait. You just have to make the decision for yourself if it’s worth the risk 🩷 none of the other comments answered your question at all lol
