Naps

How do you put your baby to sleep for a nap? I’m losing my sanity it’s getting so hard and he’s always been sleeping on me

We do mostly contact naps as she’s a cat napper but one nap a day we put her in her next to me with baby camera so she gets a longer sleep. She’ll occasionally do pram naps too and loves a rocking chair 😂

Would also like to know the answer to this question as my little one cry’s if put down awake and if asleep wakes up before her bum even touches the mattress so all we can do is contact naps which are lovely but I would like to be able to get stuff done or even go for a wee hands free !

The only thing that’s working for us is once a day (morning) when I’m putting clothes and washing away in the bedroom I put him in the middle of our bed and he sleep for an hour, but I end up sitting on the floor beside the bedroom because it takes me 5 mins to sort the clothes out and I just wait for him to wake up 😂 even if I left a monitor on him I wouldn’t be able to leave but at least it’s something! The rest of the day he contact naps

Mine only contact naps, but to be hands free we use a baby carrier or sling and carry him round with us! It’s been a life saver

Breastfeeding/feeding advice

It’s soooo difficult!!
I am trying my hardest to breastfeed, I’m only on day 6 and I know I shouldn’t beat myself up, but we just stayed in the hospital for 2 days as he had lost too much weight. Started giving breast and formula. I keep getting conflicting advice from midwife’s and nurses on what to do. I want to bf, but I also want to make sure he’s fed.
But then I get told if I give formula my supply will go. It’s only been 6 days and I just want him to be healthy but constantly worrying he’s not getting any milk from me.

I’ve also been told to not pump as this will lessen my supply too.

Velcro baby temperament

Baby is 2 months old tomorrow and I know she’s still so young and brand new to the world. She’s super sensitive due to her tummy issues so she’s always been a high needs, contact napping, constant holding/rocking/soothing, and co-sleeping baby. I’m a FTM and can’t handle letting her CIO. I love her so much but my back, shoulders, and neck are messed up from always holding her and having to rock her. Did anyone else w a baby w a temperament similar to my daughter’s grow out of it? Or did they grow up to be very sensitive toddlers as well?

Also, anyone have any experience w the Moonboon?

Breast Feeding

When I was younger, my mom used to explain to me that she didn’t breast-feed because her breasts were really big in this new generation. Is that a thing?
I currently wear a 36 triple D or 36E and I just wanna make sure when I do start breast-feeding that I won’t smother my baby with my breast

This is mostly for moms with teenagers. When you go to talk to your teenager at home or even in the car and they are scrolling on their phone. Do they look up? Yes? Or do they scrolling?

My daughter is really attached to her phone. I I will sometimes come in her room and ask her a question or talk to her and I do give her space but sometimes I need to ask her a question or talk to her and then I say can you please put your phone down and look up at me. It's like I have to keep repeating myself and sometimes she doesn't look up. Sometimes she'll keep scrolling and it's really frustrating and I'm just curious if anybody else deals with the same thing.
