I went to the hospital because I was having a lot of pain when I found out I was pregnant. They did an ultrasound on me, but told me if I wanted to get into their high risk pregnancy center, to have a referral sent from my primary.
My primary has messed this up three times and I've just called back begging them to fix it. But this means it's been nine days since I found out I was pregnant and haven't seen an OB. I am 14 weeks along.
How long is it safe to be waiting, as a high risk pregnancy, for an appointment?? I feel helpless and scared that I'm not going to get an appt in time. Thanks.

Honestly if it is high risk I would've gotten in ASAP if that was the case. I begged to be seen sooner with this current pregnancy which they got me in at 8 weeks. They are also doing a heart beat check every week for the next month to make sure baby is healthy. I'm going to say I wouldn't stick with a OB if they're taking that long. I'd try to get in someplace else.
