Induction

Hi girls .. went for a routine scan this evening and have been told that due to preeclampsia, they will most likely induce at 37 weeks - which is next week! 😬

FTM so unsure about the whole procedure .. has anyone been through this before and can shed some light on what I might expect?

Well, let's see, I had a risk of preeclamsia and I already reached 36 weeks, I mean, I already stopped drinking the aspirin pills and today I asked the midwife if there will be any induction or something but that's not the plan 🤷🏻‍♀️ they want to leave me until 40 weeks at least that the baby comes out naturally and if they see that I pass 40 they would make me induction of course but I guess they will have told me that's because the pills I guess they have done me good since I started taking them at 13 weeks of pregnancy

So maybe you are reaching the risk of preclamation and the only thing I can advise you is to follow the procedure that the doctors are telling you 🥰 for the save of you and your baby I hope you have a good birth.🫶🏻🥹

I was induced with my first but it wasn’t due to preeclampsia. Happy to share my induction process as it was a very positive experience and aware people don’t often share positive sides x

Nesting mode at 33 weeks!

33 weeks and I feel like everything needs to be done this week and next. I have washed and folded all baby clothes. How is everyone else getting on?

C section tomorrow

Does everyone wash their hair, shave legs in the morning before the section? Or do it the night before?

Newborn congestion

health visitor assured me that it’s absolutely normal for my 4 week old to be stuffy and have a considerable amount of congestion, but just concerned about him coughing because of it and gagging on it. using an electric suction device but does anyone have any more tips to help him?

Sons first birthday

My sons 1st birthday was a month ago , and I’ve been recently told by a friend of my soon to be ex husband that I made the party all about me and I shouldn’t have opened the presents and I should have let him open them all ..
certain people were already running late as usual , and other people were already wanting to leave . And that makes me a bad mom for trying to keep things afloat?

Measuring 2cm Small at My Midwife Appointment—Worried!

At my recent midwife appointment, my fundal height was 2cm smaller than expected and will assess this at my next midwife appointment in two weeks time. Anyone else had this and did baby catch up? I'm a bit anxious and would love to hear your experiences, feel like being referred for a scan now would have been better rather than waiting another 2 weeks.. ? First pregnency.
