Signs labour is coming…

What are the first signs you remember that Labour is coming?

It’s my third but all pregnancies have been so different. My son I lost my mucus plug and reduced movement. With my daughter my waters broke.

Today I am extremely uncomfortable, no matter where I am or what position I’m in. Going to the toilet more often (2) & baby has been so active but feels a lot lower.

Im just curious if there is other things that have happened that could be a sign but im unaware of.

Please help 🧡

I got really fatigued more than normal, literally fell asleep soon as lay down, any time of day.
Both pregnancy’s I had loose bowls day before going in to labour. Waters broke 1st for both, don’t remember loosing any plugs with either pregnancy

Ive heard of loose bowels or vomiting can be a sign as your body is clearing out ready. But thats not for everyone. I dont remember what my first sign was but my waters didnt break until many hours into labour. I think it was at least 4am when they went, I went in at 9pm and was sent home as not dilated enough ha x

I didn't really have any major signs with my daughter I don't think. My contractions just started very mildly at 8:30pm and she was born at 6:20am the next day (10 hours start to finish). My waters didn't break until I started pushing.

Position in baby carrier

Is the baby positioned properly in this baby carrier? I can kiss his head but he likes to lean on one side, is it ok?

No biggie

I just used the bus in Manchester for the first time, in a long time, with my baby! No big deal but I was just happy I had the courage.

C SECTION MAMAs

Just curious—those of you who had C-sections, how did your little ones turn out?
I recently read about research looking at possible associations between C-sections and ADHD/autism, and I was wondering what other moms' experiences have been. No judgment at all, just interested in hearing different stories!

Men on maternity ward

Has anyone been told that they can have their birth partner stay overnight with them in the hospital?

When I had my other babies it wasn't allowed. Dad's came as you went up to delivery and were only allowed to stay until 11 etc.

I don't feel comfortable labouring (I'm being induced) with men roaming about. Like legit in their pj's strolling around the ward using the patient toilets etc.

What's your opinions/experience?

Baby Kicks??

Baby kicks don’t feel like flutters, swimming fish, popcorn or bubbles to me but more like big THUMPS😅. Anyone feel the same?
