Just curious—those of you who had C-sections, how did your little ones turn out?
I recently read about research looking at possible associations between C-sections and ADHD/autism, and I was wondering what other moms' experiences have been. No judgment at all, just interested in hearing different stories!

How would a c section cause autism....

I'm curious, how on earth could those things be related in any way?😅 I could understand there being a link between babies under stress, resulting in a section, leading to things such as global development delay but, ADHD/ASD being directly related to C-sections? That seems like a wild jump to me

All 3 of my kids were c section and they don’t have that . All in advanced classes too

Yeah a c section isn’t gonna cause those things. It could very rarely cause other problems but not those

The environmental part of autism refers to what happens during early pregnancy and the development of the baby's brain (those things that happen aren't even known yet). The rest of autism refers to genetics. C section are a necessary form of birth that saves lives. It would be wrong to make mother's afraid that their delivery caused autism.
