20 week scan!

Got my 20 week scan today! Would anyone recommend any questions I should be asking in this scan? Thank you!

I wouldn't overthink it, there wasn't really a chance to ask any questions at the scan 🙈

You don't need to ask anything really. They'll explain what they're doing and let you know anything of importance xx

I'd ask where your placenta is (front, back / high, low)

I also wish I'd asked what percentile baby is currently in

You could ask where baby is sitting eg head down, transverse. Theres no right or wrong, its just for your own interest !

Yeah ask what percentile baby is currently at, I didn't ask and my baby is measuring small

FTM C section trauma ??

Did anyone have an emergency c section ? Does anyone feel like their c section was unnecessary ? Or is it just me ? I’m still trying to work through my birth trauma at 8 months pp. I feel so alone sometimes because I literally do not know anyone else who had a c section 😭

Induction

Hi girls .. went for a routine scan this evening and have been told that due to preeclampsia, they will most likely induce at 37 weeks - which is next week! 😬

FTM so unsure about the whole procedure .. has anyone been through this before and can shed some light on what I might expect?

Perineal massage

I’m 36 weeks and have started perineal massage. My partner is doing it for me, only on day 2. Anyone else find it very painful😥 I know we’re meant to feel pressure/ uncomfortable but I’m really struggling! Anyone else? It’s also making me super anxious for birth now…

Growth scan

Does anyone have any experience with baby dropping in expected birth weight? I’ve been for a growth scan today at 32 weeks to be told that baby has dropped from the 54th percentile for weight to the 29th percentile. Trying to not worry myself too much about it as my consultant said they are not worried but want to continue to monitor.
Has anyone else had something similar? Has baby caught up?

Disappointed?

So, we had a scan yesterday and we’d agreed not to find out baby’s gender but we think the midwife may have slipped up and told us. So now we’re in a bit of a dilemma…
Do we find out or try to ignore what she said?

Scar healing method

Hey, what does everybody recommend to fade your scar line visibility? Im using silicone tape at the moment for about 4 weeks now ( have missed a few days here and there when needing to order more each time) but not noticing much if any difference
