I’m going into my third trimester with my first pregnancy, starting to stress about birth, episiotomy, pain, haemorrhaging or things going wrong. (I’m a hypochondriac lol) can you give me your positive birth stories as all I’ve seen are negative ones!

My birth was good. 40+ 5 6 am my waters broke and then slowly period cramps ramped up. Went in at 1pm got sent home napped and then woke at 9? And it got worse. Got to hospital around 22:00 and I was already 3/4 cm dilated. The only meh moment was they gave me pethiden and it made me feel really crappy so then I was allowed gas and air. Honestly the best drug there was for me I loved it and only used when needed. Also opted for an epidural (which i was back and forth on leading up) let me tell you they held me real still and it let me sleep. It was Gorgeus. While sleeping the midwife would wake me to move sides (common if you had an epidural so it stays working throughout your back) and at 4 am I was pushing. Now this bit was funny because he had a head on the 99th percentile I ended up doing tug of war? I felt the pressure but no pain. You do feel the ring of fire but by that point you know it s near the end so you don’t think on it too much. He pushed his elbow through as well…
