New job early pregnancy

I'm due to start a new job on 13th July, I am currently working my notice period at my current job and when I accepted the new job I didn't know I was pregnant. Now I have to tell my new employer I'm pregnant, and I also have my booking appointment on my first day at my new job, along with an early scan at 9 week, another appointment at 10 weeks the a scan at 12 weeks. Has anyone been in this position? Legally they obviously need to give me time for my appointments but just wasn't sure how to go about it. Any advice would be great!

Not sure about giving you time for your appointments bc i did mine before or after work. I took a new job at 3 months pregnant and told the hiring manager in my interview. She said I could wait to tell HR till I was ready so after 20 weeks I told HR. Obviously I was hired when I was already pregnant. I would say if you didnt know when hired and still are in your first trimester where things could go either way maybe talk to your boss and see what they say.

I’m still looking for a new job, but I’m 7w 1d along and I’m trying to find a new job quickly cause I’m aware most jobs won’t hire if your pregnant 😩

Yeah I would say don’t tell them until you are 20 weeks when you have to read your new manager. Or atleast you have had time to show them you can do the job well.
You can ask for appointments to be around work hours or you can tell work you have an appointment without having to explain that it’s pregnancy related.

Early scan

I only found out I was pregnant last Wednesday but it turns out I could be between 8-12 weeks gone 😬
I get to go for an early scan today so I’m super excited but I will also be on my own so I’m a bit nervous encase there’s anything wrong. Either way, I’m wishing myself luck 🍀

Feeling ill

I’m 4 weeks post partum, had an emergency c section. Currently pumping and supplementing with formula but I just keep feeling underlying feeling of flu like symptoms, aching bones kind of thing. It never manifests into anything but I always just feel a bit unwell. I’m wondering if it’s the expressing that’s making me feel like this !? 🤔😫 Anyone else feel like this?

C section and hospital stay in uk

Hello!
Looking for stories from mothers who had c sections before.
I have my C section booked (due to 2 health risks).
What will it be like? How many nights did you have to stay in the hospital? What was the whole experience like?
My husband and i are trying to figure out if he should take days off from work. But i believe there is no need if me and the baby will be there for observation? He thinks the baby will be with me in the room all the time and he would have to help me with the baby. Where as i think the baby will be kept in the nursery (but i do hope he would actually stay with me in the room) and the nurses would be around to help when needed, therefore there wouldn't be a need for him to be with me at the hospital continuously. He also thinks he would have to stay with me there overnight 🙈
1st time staying in a hospital in uk too 🙈. This is all very new for us.

Anyone had a 6 week ultrasound with gestational sac measuring 6mm with no yolk sac visible?
Did you have good news 2 weeks later at the rescan or bad news?

Pregnant again 🫣

Our little one has just turned three months and we’ve just found out we’re pregnant again (maybe around 4 weeks but haven’t had my period return since giving birth so difficult to say)

We also have a 3 year old. We’re obviously in shock but leaning towards keeping the baby so I was wondering if anybody has experience of such a close age gap?
