1) At least twice a day for breastfed infants 6 to 8 months of age
2) At least three times a day for breastfed infants 9 months and older
3) At least four times a day for formula-fed infants 6 to 23 months of age.

My little one is 8 months old and formula fed, and she's been having three meals for almost a month. Although her first meal is generally toast or crumpets, second meal is substantial and like a proper meal but mushy with some cooked chicken and then third meal tends to be a yoghurt with pear & prune puree in it
