How far along are you? It also depends on what you mean by moving a lot? Like how many kicks per hour would you say? It usually shouldn’t be something to be concerned about unless you feel baby is stressed

How far along are you ?? This is my first and baby has been quite active since 16weeks and that’s with an anterior placenta god help me if I didn’t have one lol x

based on your comment, 24 weeks is when you’re expected to see more of those frequent movements with baby

My boys is extremely active and my doctor said better an active baby for peace of mind than not . When in doubt ask your OB .

My son moved a ton in the womb, to the point he was hard to scan. Moves just as much after he was born. He was and is totally healthy, but you can always ask your doctor.

12 week scan unexpected surprise!

So I was expecting a normal scan with it, bringing my third baby turns out not to be the case as I am pregnant with twins.

I am so excited and ngl still in shock, but the scan went well they're both measuring as they should, and no concerns whatsoever they were just really happy for me and my partner and I'm due on the 29th instead of the 30th so I am now 12 weeks and 2 days measuring.

So unexpected surprise but couldn't be more blessed to be a mother to twins 💙🩷

Can you see it?

I’m due on today but nothing and just had a feeling to test and I swear I can see a very faint line. Will wait a couple of days and use a clear blue test x

C section and hospital stay in uk

Hello!
Looking for stories from mothers who had c sections before.
I have my C section booked (due to 2 health risks).
What will it be like? How many nights did you have to stay in the hospital? What was the whole experience like?
My husband and i are trying to figure out if he should take days off from work. But i believe there is no need if me and the baby will be there for observation? He thinks the baby will be with me in the room all the time and he would have to help me with the baby. Where as i think the baby will be kept in the nursery (but i do hope he would actually stay with me in the room) and the nurses would be around to help when needed, therefore there wouldn't be a need for him to be with me at the hospital continuously. He also thinks he would have to stay with me there overnight 🙈
1st time staying in a hospital in uk too 🙈. This is all very new for us.

When did you start leaving the house ?

Im curious how long it took everyone to leave the house after giving birth?

Whenever people asked how old my daughter was they always say " wow i would still be home recovering "

I had natural births with both 1 unledicated and 1 with gas and air i had a 3rd dagree tear with my first and a 2nd with my 2nd child and had stitches with both

With both kids i was out and about the day after as i just hated being home but everyone just always seemed so suprised but i imagine im not the only one ? 😅
