You can try giving her soft age appropriate foods. Bananas that are easy to hold, toast, cooked meat. Its good she has interest in your food. My girl was the same, we started with purees and then she started showing interest in my food, so I started giving her finger foods and shes doing well with it, exploring food and her mouth and hands.
I wouldnt know about breastfeeding kicks though.

Feeling left behind

My husband works in London.
He’s out constantly doing different things, dinners, nights out, events, golf days, trips.
I’m at home with our daughter which I wanted to be with her but I’m just feeling like he’s living an extravagant lifestyle and I’m just doing the mundane things at home.
For me to go out it’s not an easy task as I don’t have much family.
I’m really struggling with the feeling at the moment, I try and voice it but all I get back is its work and we wouldn’t have a lifestyle without me doing this.
Has anyone else experienced this and how to articulate it as this has been a problem for some years now.

Nursery funding

Does anyone know how the free 30 hours works?
I’m aware you can’t claim if you have an income of over 100k.
Is that as a household income or is it that each parent can’t have an income over 100k?

Hope this makes sense

Back to work

I go back to work in just over a week and I am really struggling with it. I don’t like my job, and I don’t get along with the people in my department, they aren’t very nice, very judgemental and will make passive aggressive comments all day. I feel like I’m consistently having to defend my decisions. I have spoke to managers etc, but nothing gets done. Moving jobs isn’t an option right now either.

I was in bed crying last night about having to go back to work, and I know I’m going to get worse the closer it gets. Leaving my boy, who I’ve been with all day every day for a year.

How did you cope with the initial return? Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated

After how many days of accidents do you give up potty training?

We have started this week, tentatively since Sunday but this is day3 of wearing underwear.
We have some successes with pee but no poos and still around 6 accidents per day.
She seems to go to the potty to pee, does a small one but doesn't finish, then wets herself.
The problem I have is I work full time so she has been at nursery and at my mother in laws, so 2 different settings away from home. I don't have the option to take time off to stay at home currently.
I'm starting to think this isn't a success and to stop 😔 how many days would you give it if you had continued accidents, or would you continue?

Should I be concerned??

Bf and I don’t live together. He stayed at my house tonight and at 2am left because his friend called and needed a place to stay because he was too drunk to go home. Bf left to go get him, and then when he got home I called him 3 times because he didn’t check in like he said he would. He answered the third time and said his friend was the only person there. Then I saw his location changed to across town so I called back and he said they just ran to get food. He said he went because he didn’t want to be “left alone with the girls” and this made my whole stomach drop and I asked what he meant and he said his friend brought some girls with him back to my bfs house, and they were all spending the night. I expressed my concern and how I was more anxious because he wasn’t being transparent from the beginning. He said if it’s that big a deal he’ll come back to my house. I said okay. He hung up.

He has cheated on me before, which is why I get so anxious. I’m not just crazy

Partner unwell, managing baby alone :(

Just needing to vent!
We have a 7 week old and my wife ( we're a same sex couple) has come down with a flu like illness. Baby has a slight cough but is otherwise very well.
To be on the safe side, my partner's been isolating in the spare room to reduce the risk of me or the baby catching it. But that's meant me managing the baby by myself for the past 2 days and it is hard!!
I've no idea how single parents manage!
