I currently take 2 aspirin once a day as advised when I saw a specialist at the hospital last year. On the letter it advises to take everyday so long there is a positive pregnancy test. But I’m sure when I asked at the hospital a few weeks ago I was told to just take it up until 16 weeks. I’m not sure who I can get in touch with to ask about this. I know mau is 16+ weeks. And it’s been the hospital prescribing the aspirin not my doctors.
I more or less run out just before I turn 16 weeks, like 4 days before, and I don’t know how to order more or whether to order more. I have no clue how to get in touch with my midwife. Don’t know whether I can contact EPU with it not really being an emergency, plus I’m not sure if they’d know.
So I’m just wondering if anyone knows who I can contact?

Contact your midwife and they will advise. Either call the number for the EPU on the front of your pack or if you can wait a day or so for an answer pop an email over to your community midwife team

When I spoke to my midwife at my 8 week appointment, she said you can take aspirin up to around 36 weeks (to reduce blood thinning around labour). I get aspirin over the counter at a pharmacy but I’m sure you could get it prescribed if you talk to your midwife or GP
