Caesarean infected or possible bacterial growth ?

I noticed my C-section smelling the other day now it smells rotten like a dead mouse I was walking all over the house trying to find a dead mouse it was my inscion smelling that way and it was embarrassing becuase it’s so strong my mom smelt it too . This is a photo of one side the other side is in comments please let me know I called up to my ob but they can’t get me in till my 6 week appointment and that’s on the 8th of July . What should I do ? I have been cleaning it and using guazes to help trap moisture from getting into it since I have an apron belly and letting it air out too while I’m laying down I don’t know what to do but it burns off and on and is now really red and looks like of crusted on the corners ? Also my doctor said at my 2 week follow up that my c section was healing in her words “beautiful especially around the corners “ so Idk how it went from healing real good to this in a little over a week I had a pico vacuum on after my ceasarean due to fluid leaking but it collected all of it and she took it off at that follow up appointment but now she’s out of office cus she moving to Tennessee so I’ll have a new doctor and idk if she Put in my chart what it looked like or not at that appointment I have no fluid that I know of leaking right now just kinda moisturizer I guess from sweat cus it’s summer and I clean it and pat it dry

If definitely go to the emergency room or make an emergency appointment because this is an infection that shouldn’t be waiting until then

Go to the ER right now they will take you in fast as that is a medical emergency! you need antibiotics for the infection

I’ve wanted a girl all my life and now I’m having one I’m struggling so bad to find a name!

I always loved Bella, but my sister called her daughter Isabella and I think it’s too close…

I’m English and my partner is German so I’m looking at names from both cultures. Our list so far is…

Leni
Ella
Lilli
Lyra
Keira

I don’t absolutely love any of them any thoughts and suggestions would be very welcome!! 💕

Labour and post birth visitors

I see a lot of people saying they don’t want anyone knowing when they are in labour and don’t want any visitors after. Just wondering what the general thoughts are on this? What are people’s reasons for wanting/not wanting this.

I’m a first time mum and thinking I want my friends and family around me straight away (if they want to) is there some sort of negative to this?

When do you mammas have time to workout? Just at home?
I have a dog which I walk in the mornings when hot (walk at lunch if not) so up at 6am, Little one is up 7/7:30, preschool at 9, pick up at 4, working in between these hours. Then dinner and bed for 7pm ish. I’m struggling to find time to squeeze a workout in or am I being lazy and just need to be up earlier??

Strong pain on lower side belly

Hello ladies, I am 25 weeks tomorrow and just experienced a couple sharp moments of pain on my right side, right under my belly, roughly where you get period pains (i can only describe them as contraption-like even if I don't know what a contraption feels like).

It lasted a few second twice then went away. Laying down now and it's gone.

I have had period-like mild cramping across lower belly all morning, but i know thats nothing to worry about, just worth mentioning.

Any of you had this? Could it be braxton or ligament? Halp
