Nap time

Where are you all putting your little ones to sleep? Baby is 4 months old and currently naps in his Moses basket in the living room with the TV on and me coming in and out etc. should I be putting him in his crib? I read somewhere that daytime naps should be light and noisy (to an extent) so they can differentiate, but thinking I should try him upstairs in our bedroom?

My boy is 5 months and I've managed to nap in his bassinet... Once! 🥲 He's a serial contact napper. So he's asleep latched, or in his carrier. If he already sleeps in his moses basket then I'd say give his cot a go!

My little girl sleeps in her big girl cot or her next to me cot for day time naps

Until 6 months baby should always be asleep in same room as you even for naps.
We left our LG in her moses basket or on the floor in living room once she out grew it.
Now at 10 months we have moved from a house to a flat so she goes in her cot for daytime naps.

Keep him in the light/noise until it is majorly impacting sleep.

As already mentioned all sleep should be in the same room as you until 6 months. A monitor doesn't do the same job.

Split nights

I’m literally at breaking point I don’t know what else to do. My 13 month old has never been a good sleeper. But for the last 4 weeks has been up for 2 hours in the middle of the night with a couple more wakes before that. We’ve sleep trained him to fall asleep on his own, we’ve capped his naps, extended/lowered his wake windows and I don’t know what else we can try. I understand they go through regressions/split nights but surely 4 weeks is not it. I’m sat in bed crying, absolutely exhausted and feel like the worst mum in the world as he needs his sleep. I just wanted to know if anyone else has been through the same or has any advice?

Doing it wrong 😴🤣

I just realised I’ve been using the Milton tablets wrong after seeing another post 🤣 I’ve been soaking the mam bottles and parts in soapy water before a wash and rinsing then soaking it in the Milton water solution. I’d then rinse once more then put them in the microwave to sterilise. Hadn’t realised the tablet is a steriliser all these months 🤣 My LO is 8 months now 🤣

Signed a clearly exhausted, lost a few brain cells mum 🤣🤣

Husband concerned with co sleeping

Been co sleeping with our daughter for a good few months now. My husband recently shared that he’s not comfortable with it as accidents can happen. He’s afraid we’ll roll over on her or she’ll get stuck under a blanket or pillow.
My husband and I are both bigger people, with me being 5’8 and him 5’11.
I understand his fear because accidents do happen, but I don’t see what’s wrong with co sleeping.
If we can find a safe compromise for her to co sleep with us.
I’m able to get my baby to sleep in her crib, which is bedside, for around 2 hours before she wakes up looking for me.
I’m just feeling a bit stuck.

Baby carriers?

I have a 7 month baby, and she is pretty heavy to hold now when I need to get things done. I’ve been on a search for baby carriers and I found two, the wildbird carrier or the tush baby with the snug. Need some opinions on which is better, or recommendations!
