I just woke up and I was co-sleeping with my 5 month old baby in my bed … I have no memory of putting him there. When I got him to sleep earlier on I had placed him in his crib and I remember seeing him still in his crib when I went to sleep. I read up it could be because people get sleep deprived but I don’t feel that was the case for me. Yes I was tired when I fell asleep but definitely not sleep deprived. I just don’t remember getting up and moving him into my bed. I don’t do drugs or drink and I’m on no medication.
Has this happened to anyone before? I’m freaking out so much as I can’t remember it at all! He’s back safely in his crib now but now I’m stressed about the whole situation

When my daughter was around that age I would have really weird really vivid dreams, so vivid they really felt like they happened I can still remember them clear as day.. the only time I had dreams like that when I was pregnant and while I was earlier postpartum..one night I literally thought I heard my daughter crying in bed next to me and saw her crawling towards the wall and I tried reaching for her multiple times before jolting awake and seeing she was still safely sleeping in her bassinet.. I have other very weird dreams like that, but it came down to the huge hormonal shift we have after childbirth..I know mom brain is also a huge thing after birth, I also struggled with that, which also is largely due to hormonal shift.. but have you ever had a history of sleep walking? Or anyone in your family has it?
