Labour!

I’m 38 weeks and booked for an induction next week, but really wanted to go into labour naturally before induction anything that’ll actually work ? 😆

Not really, there are ways to try and get your body ready - curb walking, raspberry leaf tea, sex, bouncing on an exercise ball. But if it's not time, it's not time! Even sweeps won't work if your body isn't ready yet.

I had an induction due to what I thought was RFM - but the monitors etc showed baby was fine - at 41 weeks. Think I would've gone to 42 weeks if it wasn't for that. 🥲

Good luck though, I hope you manage to go spontaneously before then!

Help please

I am 40+4 today and I'm seriously struggling with our baby boy not being here does anyone know remedies that actually work for helping induce labour. I do excersizes, walks, spicy foods and pineapple but none of it's working. I'm having braxton hicks and alot of pressure on my belly but no signs of labour. Please help a mumma to be out 🙏🏻

Can partner take baby home from hospital if I have to stay in? 🇬🇧🇬🇧

I'm having a planned c section. Last time was during covid and it was horrid as was in awful pain, had a bad reaction to the oromorph and I pretty much was passing out.

I had to stay in for 2 nights after the c section. Baby was fine. My husband can only stay until 10pm. If baby passes all checks can he take the baby home with him? I won't be allowed to be discharged until at least the following day so it would be around 12 hours without baby with me.

Which name for baby boy?

I love both these names but they are completely different vibes for me. Is Hugo too posh? Is Cormac too rugged? Need opinions.

Pains at 37 weeks

I am currently getting sharp pains in my bum when I stand, bend or sit. Could this be the start of labour.

Scheduled C-section

Okay y’all, my C-section has officially been scheduled and now I’m officially terrified. 😭😮‍💨

In just 9 more weeks, my baby boy will be here! I know that’s still about 2 months away, but it suddenly feels so real now that there’s an actual date.

That’s only 61 days from now, and honestly, I’m excited and nervous all at the same time. I can’t wait to meet him, but the thought of surgery, recovery, and having a newborn again is definitely starting to hit me. So scary. 😅💙
