If Halloween falls on a Saturday, would you let your child attend a classmate’s birthday party during the afternoon?
It’ll be a costume/halloween themed party, with lunch provided, parents and siblings are welcome, and it will end in time for people to go home and get ready for their evening plans.

Absolutely I think that sounds like so much fun! Also leaves plenty of time to go out trick or treating after 😊

I'd rather a party than to go trick or treating anyway. Way easier when they're younger too

Plus you can go trick or treating with all your friends who were already at your party 🥳. That sounds like so much fun 👻

As long as I know the parents well and my kid had a way to contact me themselves or I am invited to stay as well.

Why wouldn’t you if you can go?

My kids’ bday is Nov 4th, which is a Wednesday this year. Normally for a Wednesday birthday I’d do a party the Saturday before, but the Saturday before November 4th is Halloween.
At first I thought it would be a hassle for other parents to juggle a party with their own evening plans/trick-or-treating, but the more I thought about it I figured it would be a good way to keep kids occupied/kill time while waiting for dusk.
Then I started wondering if I was rationalizing it to myself, and other parents wouldn’t be thrilled about it… 😅
So the question really is: would I be inconveniencing other parents by holding a bday party on the afternoon of Halloween day. Keeping in mind we are a big trick-or-treating community, so most people will have evening plans that require a bit of prep.
