Sleep swaddle socks in this heat?

Evening fellow mummies ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ

What are we doing for our babies that are used to sleep swaddle sacks in this heat? My 3-month-old still very much has his startle reflex and I'm worried about how I'm going to take him out of his swaddle sack and only have him in a nappy. At the moment he is in a nappy and a one tog sleep swaddle with a fan in the bedroom. However, my bedroom is still 26-27ยฐ

I know if I just decide to take him out of the sleep swaddle sack that he will just wake himself up with his startle reflex. So what are we doing to get them used to not being in the sacks?

You can get a 0.2 tog swaddle for room temperatures of 24-27 degrees. Love To Dream does them x

I swaddled my baby too and was absolutely convinced that she would wake herself up without it. And she just didn't.i was really surprised ! So perhaps try it first and of it's an issue problem solve from there?

Mines never used a sleep sack but she still has the startle reflex, i tuck her arms and legs in so that she doesnt flop as im putting her down, i put her in the next to me bottom first and then gently lower her head down

My baby is in a vest or nappy and then in a 1 tog sack. Sheโ€™s been fine so far. She sleeps through usually but I am waking her to feed and keep her hydrated now

At what age do you think having sex in the same room as your awake child becomes sexual abuse?

The other post got me thinking. At some point this is just straight sexual abuse. But at what age would you classify it as

Scared about nursery

Almost 1yo starts settling into nursery this week. Sheโ€™s mostly contact naps and breastfeeds a few times during the day.

Iโ€™m scared sheโ€™ll struggle to sleep, or wonโ€™t eat much and be hungry, or will feel abandoned. I feel horrible. I spent most of my mat leave struggling and now that itโ€™s time for it to end, I feel so sad about leaving her.

Any advice?

Getting a haircut when exclusively breastfeeding

So I'm a new Mum and I am DESPERATE for a haircut. I was meant to get one before my baby was born but baby decided to make an early appearance. My hair is now 2 months overdue for a cut and it really shows ๐Ÿ˜ญ I've been struggling with my appearance since having a baby and I feel anxious about going out. Does anyone have any tips on how to handle a hair appointment with a baby and breastfeeding?

Breastfeeding

Iโ€™m currently 6 weeks and 4 days postpartum with my second. I am currently EBF which in term of milk supply and latch is going well. I struggled a lot with my first and was excited to BF my second. I am now 6 weeks in an feel like Iโ€™m not enjoying it as much as I should/thought to the point I want to stop/combi feed. However even when I think about giving her a bottle i feel super guilty and feel like I should BF instead. I also get very paranoid as to whether she is getting enough milk and constantly checking the heaviness of her nappies etc. My head is a little bit of a mess about whether to continue as itโ€™s going better then with my first but also not enjoying it but struggling to even think about giving it up HELP. Like I want to stop but donโ€™t want to stop
