ROOM TEMP HELP!

my little girl is 6 months , she still sleeps in the room with us , but it’s showing 33 degrees! the other rooms in the house are no better! i’ve got fans on ( not aiming at her of course ) windows are open now that the sun has gone down , all doors are open ( apart from the back and front )she is just in a nappy and seems ok. she did seem irritable earlier but she was fine shortly after , and i am so worried i can’t even get myself to sleep i’ve tried every tip and trick that’s been advised by NHS ext. , what can i do to help bring the temperature down? thanks x

I’ve put a fan infront of the window to suck all the cool air in, after having it point out to draw the hot air out the room and I keep the curtain open all night on the side the window opens, I’ve got another fan pointing at the wall next to his cot with a bowl of ice infront of and it’s brought the room down from 28.3 to 25.8.
This seems to work for us the last few days. Last night me and little one were in hospital and my partner said he closed the curtains and kept the window open how I do and the room went up to 29 through the night so definitely think allowing the cold air in helps

Weve been sleeping downstairs the last 3 nights, brought the next to me crib to the sofa as its much cooler down here! Even without a baby id not be sleeping in the bedroom in this heat 🥵

If you have any ice fill a bowl up and put near the fan it will help cool it down a little xx

I took the baby's mattress into the garage for his naps because it was the only cool place! Ridiculous but it worked

Best size 4 nappies?

We currently use nutmeg size 3, but concerned about the size 4s being ultra absorbant/different to what we're used to and the price is a bit much with the sie increase. Any idea if they're any good or any recommendations for other nappy brands

Help EBF

Has anyone else had the same issue ?
My nearly 4 week old pretty much chokes/coughs and splutters when on the boob and because of that she’s taking in loads of air which makes her gassy and uncomfortable no matter how long I burp her for, I have a fast flow so I’ve tried pumping before but because I’m only 4 weeks I’m scared of causing myself a over supply as I already wake up super engorged and leaking EVERYWHERE , she’s also been throwing up a lot like after every feed then she wants to go on again and won’t settle because she’s thrown up

Nursery sleep

Let me start by saying, overall really happy with our sons nursery and I provide very rough guidelines for his sleep (I’m aware at nursery, everything goes out of the window) but they don’t seem to listen even when I give instructions in the morning, and were really suffering from a mucked up day, early wakes, ratty evenings. They’ll sometimes put him down 20 mins before he’s picked up (some days he does half days so they know he’s collected at 1) then wake him up fully so he doesn’t go back down with us. Today, they’re closing early (informed us gone 6pm last night) and I asked to try a short nap this morning so we have a chance of him getting another this afternoon, he’s been asleep for over an hour and a half, so he’s not likely to go back down and will have been awake since 11am, despite me sending a message saying to wake him.

Does anyone else call/message during the day to give instructions re sleep? I don’t want to be that nightmare parent but it’s all so frustrating.
