Has anyone else had the same issue ?
My nearly 4 week old pretty much chokes/coughs and splutters when on the boob and because of that she’s taking in loads of air which makes her gassy and uncomfortable no matter how long I burp her for, I have a fast flow so I’ve tried pumping before but because I’m only 4 weeks I’m scared of causing myself a over supply as I already wake up super engorged and leaking EVERYWHERE , she’s also been throwing up a lot like after every feed then she wants to go on again and won’t settle because she’s thrown up

Have you spoken to a lactation consultant?? She could have reflux, or something in your diet doesn't agree with her x

Your fast letdown is likely too much for her (I’ve had fast lowdown and oversupply with both babies). Try hand expressing the initial letdown then latching baby, don’t pump you’ll make the issue worse.
How is her latch?
I’d highly recommend seeing an osteopath for the gas, it changed my baby entirely he was so much more settled.

Heyy so you probably have a fast letdown same as me!! When my baby was young I’d lay on my back or side and feed my baby that way bc then it’s not going down their throat as quick ! :3
