My little girl is 4 weeks old, when she was being checked over at birth, the nurse said she had quite clicky hips and that it should be checked to be on the safe side. I've received the referral letter but I was wondering if anyone else has been through it?
Just wondering what to expect x
Thank you

They should give her an ultrasound to check to them at the referral. My LG had clicky hips, we went to the specialist and had the ultra sound and she had Hip Dysplasia. She went in to a pavlik Harness at 2 weeks old. She had to wear 24/7 for 8 weeks. We saw the specialist every few weeks for ultrasounds to check progress and went whenever she needed to size up in the harness. At her 8 week appotment they were how they should be and she was out of the harness. At 9 months she had am xray to check them and was all good and she has her 15 month x ray in September (Final check up).
She is now 11 months she army crawls and can pull her self to stand.

Yeah my little girl did. It took all of 5 mins, took longer to find parking 😂. We stripped her down to her nappy and then she laid on one side and had the scan and then the other and not a peep out of her. She told us there and then that her hips were fine so big relief!
