Do you think this is poor form? I'm really shocked

I've had an abnormal smear test 2 years in a row. This will be the 3rd before further investigation. I got a message from the NHS app to call and book. So I call the GP and they say they have no appointments for the whole of July and to call back in August....is that not crazy!? What happens if all the appointments are going then too? They also apparently only have a nurse there to do it once a week?! It's a big GP in a city.

Could you not be referred to another GP who could see you sooner? Why can't they book you in for one in August or say we can offer you a cancellation in July?

Elective C Sections

Anyone else due in August planning an elective csection? I just had an appointment with the csection specialist to make sure I was making an informed decison. While she said I won't get a date booked in until around week 36/37, she said its likely it will be the 18th, 19th or 20th August. I'm due the 21st! That shocked me a bit as I assumed it wouls be the week before (10th to 14th). Worries about going into labour naturally before then 😬 Anyone else in similar boat? Or do your hospitals do them earlier? She said they follow the WHO guidance and won't take babies out before rhe 39th week.

Anyones child been referred to hospital specialist over clicky hips?

My little girl is 4 weeks old, when she was being checked over at birth, the nurse said she had quite clicky hips and that it should be checked to be on the safe side. I've received the referral letter but I was wondering if anyone else has been through it?

Just wondering what to expect x

Thank you

Driving after c-section

When do you plan to drive again?

I read it’s recommended to wait 4-6 weeks. I’m 4 weeks PP on Monday and feel ready to drive again. I waited 6 weeks with my first but I’m demented without my car plus a toddler!
