With both my kids, I always put the sound machine in their cots, and probably louder than I should have tbh. They've always been great sleepers, and my 2 year old still has it on now, although it's on the other side of the bedroom now.
I've just read that incorrect use, e.g. using within 2 meters of sleeping children, using continuously overnight, and using louder than 50 decimals can cause long-term hearing and/or developmental issues. Ive definitely done this all their lives and they're 2 years old and 6 months old. Obviously now I'm going to change how I use it, but has anyone else done this and not had any issues later on?

Don’t really use mine but never knew this, it’s weird how we don’t read the fine print on these products and just assume we know how to use. That’s why it’s hard to sue these cooperations

We use overnight continuously but from a distance at over 2 years old. We bedshare and I love the white noise!

We use overnight and don’t see an issue, a lot of people do at every age. If you’ve got a legit product then it shouldn’t ‘allow’ you to go over 50 x
