Husband is an alcoholic rant

I have a lot of nerve pain and GI issues. I woke my husband up last night at 2am cause I was in extreme pain and he was barely legal to drive. He's been trying to quit alcohol for 6 months so I was upset that he'd been drinking. I'm 8 months pregnant. We were at the ER for 6 hours durinf which he stayed with me, but laid down on the floor cause he was so tired and complained about me moaning in pain. Thankfully everything was alright, but I was still in pain when we got home. He fell asleep as soon as we got home and it took me a couple of hours before I could sleep. I ended up sleeping until 7pm. Apparently while I was asleep he went and bout alcohol. He just blew at 1.7% bac and I'm furious. I have no one to drive me if anything happens tonight. He has gone 3 weeks without alcohol recently. I'm thinking of not letting him leave rhe house without me for the next week so that he can't buy alcohol. This is going to be so rough on me while I'm at pregnant cause I'll have to take him to work everyday. I'm just so worried that I'll have an emergency and he'll be drunk. This is causing me so much stress.

I need to get something off my chest i told my daughter to pee in the public pool. Not a friend’s pool but a big public pool splash park and I want to know if others do similar?

Before you castrate me in the comments I only did it because i was there with 4 little kids as the only adult and I didn’t want to drag all 4 wet kids out and into a gross public bathroom when we had just arrived and I made them all use the bathroom before we started playing but you know how kids are. Anyways she refused to do it even though she’s only 4, she kept saying that people are going to know and I was like JUST DO IT 🫣 I ended up having to take all 4 of them into the bathroom because she was too scared to pee in the pool but handling multiple wet kiddos in a setting like that is my least favorite thing and I think the chlorine and stuff just kills most of the germs and also if there’s lots of kids there’s bound to be pee in it from others anyways

I can't cope with my toddler anymore

My little boy is 22 months and has become an absolute nightmare. All day moaning and whining. Screaming and furious tantrums over bath time, nappy change, clothes on, clothes off, bed time, midnight wakes, food, drinking water.....everything is a screaming battle with hitting, throwing things and kicking
In-between these he can be really sweet but it's 10-15 meltdowns a day now...i am on the absolute edge...exhausted and walking on eggshels and trying to take care of his personal hygiene and food needs etc while he fights me and his dad tooth and nail
Should i be looking into behavioural problems or is this standard behaviour? It doesn't seem like it to me...my mum says i was never like this

Pls be honest with me

I have a toddler who’s 17 months. The past month most days I’ve been SO overwhelmed, he’s been making constant winging noises and just wants to be held all the time and I feel terrible (so please don’t be too harsh as I’m fully aware and wish I wasn’t like this) but I lose my patience and end up screaming like ‘oh my god just give me a minute!!’ Or just getting agitated and I’m so worried this will affect his nervous system or he’ll hate me or be wary of me 😭
My brother shouted at his dog on the weekend and my son didn’t react, my brother then told me ‘well you must shout a lot around him then and he’s just used to it because he hasn’t cried’
I do it all alone 24 hours a day 25/7 and I just feel burnt out recently. I don’t want to play with him all day, I don’t want to be climbed over or hung off of all day the dogs bark constantly I’m overwhelmed and sometimes I just lose my cool.
Am I bad and will this affect him? Like his nervous system 😢
Sometimes he’ll cry and walk away from me which crushes me. But he’s fine with me after and will come for a cuddle.

Is one lollipop a day okay for a 3-year-old?

I'm just trying not to give in to every single want and need for sugar !!

Leaving baby overnight with grandparents

My husband and I have a wedding in London (I live in Newcastle) in August where we will be away for 2 nights. My son will be almost 9 months by then. I’m nervous about being so far away and leaving my son at my in laws for the first night. Naturally I feel more comfortable with my mum but she can only look after him one of the nights. Is this something I just need to try and lean into or is 9 months still quite young to leave a baby overnight? I feel like there’s so much to prepare and think about and they just don’t know him as well and his cues etc. There’s also the fear and anxiety of something happening and not being able to get back as quick as I’d like to. Anybody feel the same/can offer some advice?

Husband took a weekend trip

I am 4.5 weeks pp and my husband has been a true blessing. He cleans and sterilizes all bottles and pump parts, does all the dishes, laundry (including our cloth diapers), cooks meals, fills my water, keeps up with the toddler. I mean he has done everything possible to make sure I can rest and heal after having the baby. He decided to take a weekend trip before he has to go back to work and I cant help but to feel angry but I dont think I have reason to be. He definitely deserves the break, I guess I just feel jealous that he has the luxury to do so while I am breastfeeding and cant be away from baby too long. I know hormones makes me extra emotional and its really not that big of a deal, I was very well taken care of the past month and im so grateful to him. I know it was a huge job taking up the majority of household tasks when we usually split it pretty evenly. Not really looking for advice or validation, just needed to vent my feeling somewhere.
