I honestly feel like I’m at breaking point tonight.
My son is 10 months old and over the past few days he’s become so incredibly fussy. He used to be such a chilled, happy baby, but now it feels like he’s unhappy all day.
We went to my mum’s house and every time we put him down he cried. Now we’re back home and he’s even crying while we’re holding him. He’s just so upset and I can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong.
We’re also in the middle of a heatwave in the UK, so he’s been struggling. Between the fussiness and crying, I just feel completely exhausted.
I love him more than anything, but I’m finding this so hard and I feel like I’m failing. Has anyone else’s baby suddenly become like this around 10 months? Was it separation anxiety, teething, the heat, or just a phase? How long did it last, and is there anything that helped?
I’d really appreciate any advice or reassurance because I feel like I’m at my limit.
