Did anyone stop the dummy? Literally called turkey and had success?

I’ve just done this myself (I know much delayed) so far on the second day it seems to be going well. Hoping it stays a success. Did anyone do this cold turkey and it carried on working?

Did with my little girl. She’s not had it since Feb this year. She sometimes asks for it but soon forgets xx

We went cold turkey with my son just before he turned 2. Was going to be the only method we could do as he’s non verbal at the moment so couldn’t do dummy fairy etc. First 2 days he had a whinge here and there but it wasn’t bad, by day 2 he had completely forgotten about it. Best thing we did!

we went cold turkey at age 2 years, 2 months and planted it under the “dodo tree” (I was replanting a little shrub) so she threw it in the hole herself and said goodbye.. no tears, just asked for it a few times and we reminded her about the tree and she happily forgot about it!! now her little sister has a dummy she likes to steal it but will happily have it taken off her and goes to bed without ever asking for a dummy x

Sadness

I’m giving my baby up for adoption and I feelll so sad I want to keep my child but financially I can’t do it and I don’t have no support my mother helps with the kids I have now it’s not like the help that I need. She doesn’t watch them Nothing all she do is be there and I can’t really put responsibilities on her because she is not their father I already have three kids, and this will be my fourth. I feel like such a letdown and a failure.

'Trace' protein in urine

Just seen on my notes that when my urine was tested on June 1st I had trace amounts of protein in my urine, results upto then has always been negative on my notes.
I wasn't told about this, should I be concerned? Will this continue to rise now it is present?

Pricing

I know everyone’s IVF experience is completely different but just looking for anyone to share any experiences they have. I have the option of two clinics to choose from so either Glasgow royal fertility clinic or the GRMC in Glasgow. Would the pricing be similar with both clinics or would one tend to be more expensive? Also would anyone recommend the PGT-A testing? This is bumping the pricing up dramatically but I am wondering if this would be a better option than doing a transfer and it not working. Really not sure what to do.

IVF ICSI

Is anyone going through or been through IVF ICSI on the NHS? Any advice you can give me would be really appreciated.

Missed miscarriage?

Hi all, I know nobody can diagnose me but looking for advice/opinions as I’m not sure what to do! My last period would date me at 6w 5d, last week on Thursday, I went for a viability scan to check pregnancy was in utero but they couldn’t find the pregnancy, told me to come back in a week as may have ovulated late. I first tested positive a week ago, 13 days late on my period and it said 1-2 weeks on clear blue. I have done another clear blue today and it still says 1-2 weeks. With my first daughter, I got 1-2 weeks a week before my period was even due so it seemed weird that I didn’t test positive until so late into my cycle. With my daughter, the line went from super faint to really defined and dark in 3 days, I have done another strip test today and there is barely any progression in the last 5 days (pics in comments). I just have a feeling something is wrong!
