Sleep

Why won’t my baby sleep past 5:00am!!😩 he’s 4 months old and I think we are right in the sleep regression but he hasn’t really gone past 5:00/5:30 ever! His bedtime is normally 7:30, but this doesn’t matter as if we are out and come home a bit later he still wakes up at the crack of dawn!! Anyone the same?

My girl was always a early riser, she’s now 3 and still wakes up at 6am, 7am latest and it very rarely happens 😅

Nap location during the day

Where do people put their baby to sleep during the day?

She’s outgrowing her Moses basket at 16 weeks, and think she hates sleeping in anything she can touch the sides of.

Any ideas other than her pram? She wakes in that too because of the sides.

Sex postpartum

I’m 5 months postpartum and still haven’t had sex with my husband, we tried a few times but it was so dry and painful even with lube that its putting me off entirely and we stopped. I am exclusively breastfeeding, so I know that has a part to play in it. Any advice is so welcome. When i think about how long it’s been it makes me so sad.

Weird, or not?

Our LO is 17 months. Typically, after dinner I take her up to the bathroom for a bath, and dad does dishes. The other day I offered to swap, assuming he would enjoy bath time. He told me he doesn’t want to give her baths because it’s “weird” for him to be giving her a bath because she’s a girl. I could understand if she were old enough to be bathing herself, but she’s not even 2. I find it really odd that he thinks that it’s “weird” to give his child a bath. Is this a red flag? Should I be concerned?

Husband’s snoring is driving me mad

Pre-baby, I was a really heavy sleeper. Once I was out, that was it until morning. Now little one has arrived, I feel I’m waking up at every tiny noise he makes. My husband has always snored, but I always used to fall asleep before him so it wasn’t an issue. Now I’m waking up multiple times a night, I’m finding it almost impossible to go back to sleep. I’m currently on the sofa with baby and hubby upstairs because I haven’t slept properly in 4 days. Little one is 4 months now and is doing a good 7 hour stretch, I just can’t seem to get that. Any advice (or earplug recommendations) greatly appreciated!

Last nights, night shift

I really don’t know what to do about this, little one does not like to be wet (understandable) once a drop hits the nappy she start’s screaming uncontrollably, when changing her she starts pooing, sometimes I use 4-5 nappies in one setting thinking she is done each time and everytime I put on a new one she 💩 again. I was also blessed with a handful of 💩last night trying to save my bed and that is her clothes all smeared too, some of these bags has 2-3 nappies in them all from one night.

Not too worried about how many nappies it is, it’s just the stress of her constant screaming and it takes so long to calm her down and she keeps pooing. Any ideas are welcome 🙏🏼

For those that have older talking kids, if u used to watch tv occasionally while your baby was there, did that make tyem talk late ?

I don’t let my son watch tv that much , he’s 7 months but o let him watch occasionally like while I’m making his food or taking a shower and for just a short period of time .. .. he’s already babbling a lot and he’s so interactive… I’m just curious to see how it went for other babies ..
