The pill-advice/experiences

I bled loads on it but it’s worked for my daughter, I also know people who have actually caught on the pill too

I took it for about 11 years and never felt pregnant on it, I’m back on it now but on the mini pill, not the combined pill

I had it for years when I was younger and it was fine but after having my daughter I decided to go for the pill again as I knew I wanted my second child close to my first so I didn’t see the point of going for a different form of contraception. I was maybe having 2 days a month where I wasn’t bleeding for about 9-10 months on this pill! I actually ended up going for cervical cancer tests and appointments because they couldn’t explain the bleeding. The day I stopped taking the pill the bleeding completely stopped. I know people have different experiences but I will never go onto the pill again!

I love the pill, gives me the most control over my cycle. I have pcos/pmos so its always been irregular. Being able to track it properly now is a godsend. Before this I had an IUD in, and after a year I was getting constant period pains and heaviness it was really unpleasant so I got it removed. The pill definitely works best for me, haven't had any noticeable symptoms.

I took the combi pill for 7 years and it was great. No side effects for me, regular breaks, never had a pregnancy scare and got pregnant (planned) the first month i came off both times

I was on the pill for 10 years before coming off it to get pregnant. I never had any side effects at all. It slowed my periods right down and I only used to bleed for maybe 24 hours, if that ☺️

i had the mini pill due to being a high risk of blood clots, took it for 4 years and then ended up getting pregnant on it but i do think it may have been because i didn’t take it at same time everyday. I’ve never had any bad symptoms on it that i can remember tho.

im sorry you were high risk of blood clots, did it help reduce the risk, any changes with periods, flow, pain etc, maybe it could’ve been, im worried about not taking it at say 11:00 each day even for one day and I get pregnant, ive had too many scares lol, thats good im glad you haven’t, im thinking my mood could change, im not sure how common that is!
