1st time mom here to a 5 week old. I almost exclusively breastfeed and as of now if I am in public I just feed in the car. I guess I never thought about it until it was me, but are we breastfeeding in restaurants and if so at the table??

I definitely have! I bought one of those breastfeeding cover things to use when we were in more public spaces like that as long as the AC was strong enough to not make it a mini sauna for my LO š¤£
They have also designed much better nursing clothing since I had my first and I plan on looking into some of those options more going into my second BF journey in a few months here. But like, your baby deserves to eat just as much as anyone else at a restaurant ā¤ļø

I breastfeed anywhere. If baby is hungry, that baby is eating. X

I had one of those breastfeeding coverups, a muslin one so it was super lightweight. I very rarely used it with my first, but I was glad to have it in case I felt uncomfortable. I was pretty anxious about it at first, I'm a super private person, but in most cases, people don't really care and just don't watch. Baby needs to eat just like everyone else!
I used it more when I was exclusively-pumping with my second, because I pumped in the break room and some of the younger kids who worked there got super flustered when they walked in š
