Doctor or no?

First time mom with a lot of fears.

I went to the hospital June 4th with a little spotting, had an ectopic pregnant 3 years prior, baby was measuring 6ish weeks and we are both healthy. I had my first ultrasound June 25th, baby was 9 weeks 4 days with a heartbeat closing around 170s.

Fast forward this week I had some hip pain Monday night (I work 10/11hr shifts in a factory) but I’ve seen that’s pretty normal as the uterus stretches, so I didn’t think anything of it, took Tylenol. Wednesday I lost practically all nausea (and it’s been rough eating anything the past month) and became stupid hungry just wanting to eat. Besides some back pain that was strong enough to wake me from dead sleep (disappeared to where I fell back to sleep within 5 minutes) and wasn’t there when I woke up in the morning and slight headache and one dizzy spell there is nothing abnormal, no blood or clots.

Should I worry about it, go to ER (as you know the holiday weekend is gonna make it hard) or wait to call my doctor Monday, or all this is pretty normal and I’m probably moving away/towards the end of the first trimester? I also haven’t met my OB yet and my first appointment is on the 20th?

You can always mention if it makes you feel better. But I will say I have some days with way less symptoms. And my OB this week told me how 9-10 weeks is when a lot of folks have their nausea start to level out. I’m 9weeks 5 days and I’ve had less intense nausea the last few days. Still lingers but more manageable

& you aren’t alone. I’m currently having random middle back pain and low key panicked lol but I think it may be a uti so I’m going to urgent care for a urine just to double check.
Nothing is “silly” we ofc what our babies to be okay

Back pain and relief from nausea are common at the end of the first trimester. If you aren’t bleeding I wouldn’t be to concerned.

Bag for hospital

Ok so I know I’m a little early but my mind likes to be very organised 😂 what sort of bag are you planning on taking to hospital with you? Last time I think I took a large suitcase and I ended up using hardly anything! Do I take a small suitcase for baby and then a little bag of bits for me? Or do I just take the suitcase again?

VBAC or Scheduled Csection

I had a very traumatic first birth with my first born, 1 year and 3 months ago. I was in labour for more than 24 hours, ended up having to have an emergency C-section as baby had passed meconium during labour and he was also a 4.400kg baby. We ended up having to stay in hospital for 6 days and both on antibiotics.

With that being said I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and baby is already weighing 2.392kg. I will be having another scan on the 24th to see how much baby is weighing and will then be discussing options in best interest of baby.
I really wanted to try a VBAC but I do not want to risk having to stay in hospital for that long away from my first born. Feeling so unsure whether to still allow my body to go into natural labour or to just schedule a csection to avoid another emergency csection and distress on the baby???

Pressure in pelvis / FTM

I’m 37 weeks & woke up with heaviness/pressure in pelvic area. I hardly could swing my legs out bed. Is anyone else experiencing this? Called Triage and midwife advised it’s normal & paracetamol and call back if any other symptoms arise.

Wtf is this stage? 🫠

I’ve never known such an up and down stage of parenting.

My daughter is either a ray of sunshine or constantly screaming.

I cannot ever predict how our days go. I don’t work Fridays and every Friday is just horrible at the moment 😭 also 24 weeks pregnant and just exhausted.
